I have started using a couple of private twitter accounts to chat to my wife on our iPhones.
We use Tweetie because it supports multiple accounts.

I am reluctant to buy some apps for the iPhone. If Apple were to allow trials for a few days that would be really useful.
It’s good that some developers are making “lite” versions of their software but proper time limited access would also be helpful.
I guess the lack of this now is helping developers make a little more money but can result in negative comments from people who have purchased and then sat they wasted their money. I’ve read a lot of these comments.
Hopefully this will come at somestage and until then I’ll wait to purchase some of the apps I’m interested in.

I never realised that it’s possible to take screen shots on the iPhone.
Simply by holding down the home button and pressing the power button a a screenshot will be taken and saved into the photo library.
Here’s a screenshot of this post as I write it!

I thought I’d test some photos first.
These are from a recent trip to South Africa with my son. They were taken with a Nikon D300, 18-200mm lens.

Welcome to this blog that will be created entirely using the WordPress app on my new iPhone 3G.
Well, that’s the plan.
I created this blog from Safari on my macbook pro and had initially used my mobileme email account. Unfortunately, their mail service was down for me so I needed to use another account to activate the blog. Not a good start :(
My plan is to maintain this blog with posts about how I get on with the phone in general and also the growing number of apps that I am accumulating.
Thanks for coming by.
